Midtown hotel chef has resigned after a black employee accused him of donning a white pillowcase to pretend to be a Ku Klux Klansman.
Cook Julius Jones, the only black person working in the kitchen at the time of the incident, was shocked by chef Jeff Farley’s getup.
He’s hired a lawyer, Eric Sanders, who plans to file a discrimination complaint with the feds. “We understand what the symbol of the white hood means,” Sanders said. “And there aren’t any ghosts in a kitchen.”
