An ex-Department of Education custodian fired for taking barrels of heating oil from a Queens school has received a new demerit for harassing a black co-worker at Pratt Institute. Pratt officials concluded that Robles “engaged in inappropriate behavior and made inappropriate statements” to Murray.
Meanwhile, Murray now claims he is being retaliated against for reporting the racial epithets. Lawyer Eric Sanders said he plans to file a complaint with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, alleging Murray has had his overtime slashed, been deluged with work and overlooked for a promotion after blowing the whistle on Robles.
