Hmm, I can tell you that I handled a similar case. Actually, the first case I ever tried in the Trial Room and won. In that case, the Department accused my client former Police Officer Howard Henderson, 113th Precinct with drug trafficking and associating with a violent Jamaican Drug Gang called “The Third World Crew.”
Unbeknownst to the Department, one of their own undercovers former Detective Winston White, Queens Narcotics was on the wiretap and leaking information to “The Third World Crew.” During the pendency of the Trial, former Detective White was arrested and convicted for drug trafficking along the Eastern Seaboard. Former Detective White is serving time in federal prison, his former partner Detective Wayne Swaby was terminated.
Former Police Officer Henderson was found “Not Guilty” of all charges.
Remember, Police Officer Monty Green DID NOT know that he was under investigation. Officer Green was simply trying to play ‘Mack Daddy’ like a whole lot of Brothers out here. Umm ‘Can I be your Daddy?’ LOL come on. Translation: I want to have sex with you. Millions of women hear this nonsense everyday and they are not prostitutes nor are the men PIMPS!!! They stretched because of their own stereotypes of minority males.
