JFK Airport Official Port Authority Escort Could Lose Cush Job for Dustup with Cop

A Port Authority official in charge of whisking VIP’S through Kennedy Airport could lose his $95,000-a-year job after a dustup with a cop.

Chief of Operations Supervisor Francis Croffie was slapped with three summonses for disorderly conduct and harassment of the cop who yanked a necklace holding Croffie’s ID card off his neck during a July 30 argument.

Croffie, 51, who has been suspended without pay, was escorting Qatar government reps through a security checkpoint when a PA cop stopped the foreign visitors’ van, which was laden with luggage.

“It is obvious the police and the airport management abused their power and we look forward to vindicating Mr. Croffie’s civil rights in federal court,” lawyer Eric Sanders said.
